1. Pays between $6,000-30,000* There are some agencies that accept “super donors” who are paid more for specific attributes

2. Involves multiple doctor visits, at home self-administered hormone injections, non-surgical egg extraction procedure

3. You will be giving up your eggs. Although you have quite a few you will be giving a lot of them up as well.

4. In addition to compensation you will receive you are giving someone the opportunity to have a child of their own. This process is very involved and you should be sure you are comfortable with all that it involves.

5. Donor requirements vary by agency but some of the following are typical

• Healthy women between the ages of 19 and 32.
• Have two normal ovaries and regular menstrual cycles.
• Normal height to weight ratio.
• Free of contagious and genetic disease.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Do not smoke or use drugs.
• Willing to avoid alcohol and caffeine during stimulation.
• Willing to undergo medical and psychological screening.
• Willing to take daily injections, have frequent blood tests and ultrasounds.
• Willing to give “Informed Consent” for the egg retrieval procedure, IV sedation and medication (such as antibiotics).
• Have own transportation and be responsible and very dependable and make all appointments.
