Medical research is an easy money making strategy but it can be more involved than a quick focus group. Some medical research studies involve visiting a clinic or hospital over the course of a week or a few months. Others require an overnight hospital stay. The fact that this method is so involved does generate a larger income. This avenue is really great for the right person.

Some research may require that you suffer from a specific ailment and may involve experimental drugs. There are others that do not involve medications but require a testing or examination of another degree and you may not even need an ailment you just need to fit the other requirements set.

I haven’t personally participated in a medical research study but that doesn’t mean it isn’t right for you. My roommate has done 3 over the course of a couple of years. She claims it was worth it but when she was in the hospital overnight on a weekend after getting a spinal tap I wasn’t feeling it lol

Let’s see if its right for you…

PROS

1. Large payout: Depending on how involved you can receive anywhere from $200-2000
2. Potentially helpful for an ailment that you suffer from and overall may help others in the long run
3. Not all studies are too in-depth or dangerous. They have groups for the common cold and asthma that are quick and seem painless.

CONS
1. May involve a hospital stay or other components some people are uncomfortable with.. Such as screenings, blood draw, x-rays, taking experimental medications.

New medical research studies are posted daily under the tab for your city above or in the medical research category.
